      WATERTOWN - Memorial services for Mrs. Lucille F. (Sizer) Ferrari, of Westbury Park Road, will be held today (Thursday) at 1 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Main Street South (Route 6), Woodbury. Burial of ashes will be in Old St. Joseph Cemetery, Waterbury. There are no calling hours.

      Mrs. Ferrari, widow of Robert J. Ferrari, died Saturday, December 1, at the home of her daughter, Karen A. Dierks, 602 Upper Grassy Hill Road, Woodbury. She was born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Harry and Marguerite Sizer, and was raised and educated in Waterbury. She had been a resident of Watertown for more than 40 years, and the past three months a resident of Woodbury. Mrs. Ferrari was employed for 35 years as a waitress at Daveluy's Restaurant on Echo Lake Road, and will always be remembered for her extraordinary organizational and managerial skills in helping arrange functions at Daveluy's, steady work ethic, and good-natured teasing and camaraderie with her customers for three and a half decades. She also was Watertown's first female firefighter and certified E.M.T. (Emergency Medical Technician) with the Watertown Fire Department. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Woodbury. Her hobbies included crafts, knitting, crocheting and dancing. In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, John J. Dierks, of Woodbury, she is survived by a brother, John Sizer Sr. of Ansonia; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Sizer.
