OLCOTT- Mrs. Gloria (Derouin) Bosse, 89, beloved wife of Henry Bosse, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury.
Gloria was born in Waterbury on February 1, 1933 daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (Loranger) Derouin. For many years she worked at OptiCare. Gloria loved everything that had to do with her large family, especially cooking for everyone. She also enjoyed reading books and was a fan of UCONN Women's Basketball. Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memories, besides her husband of 68 years, are four sons Edward and his wife Linda Bosse, Martin and his wife Loretta Bosse, Steven and his wife Kimberly Bosse, Thomas and his wife Marlaina Bosse, three daughters Celine and her husband James Dziezynski, Gisele 'Gigi' Mascia, Lynn and her husband Kenneth Benoit, and was predeceased by her daughter Michele 'Mitzi' Bosse. She also leaves two sisters, Elaine and her husband Ron Lemeiux, Anita Beer, sixteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Bosse family would like to thank the staff at River Glen Health Care Center for the excellent care that they provided.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bosse will be held on Friday, August 12th 2022 at 11 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church Parish, Sts. Peter Paul Church 67 Southmayd Rd. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with Gloria's family on Friday morning at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury from 9 to 10:30 am.
