      OUTHBURY ? Helen Blazys, of Watertown died peacefully at the Lutheran Home on March 22, 2020. She was the widow of Walter E, Blazys.

      Helen was born on June 30, 1934, in Bethlehem. She was the daughter of the late Jennie (Squires) and William Munson. She graduated from Woodbury High School.

      Helen was a charter member of the Columbiettes in Watertown. She was an avid gardener, and loved to to travel. Her famous cakes were loved by one and all. Helen was, above all, devoted to her family.

      Her children: Carolyn Nadeau (Ken Whitman) of Bethlehem and Harbor Island S.C., Leslie Demerville of Florida and Elaine Blazys (Richard Gulledge) of Winter Garden, Fla. Her grandcguldren: Collette Nadeau of Middletown , Greg Nadeau of Bethlehem, Christina Demerville, and Oliver & Zachary Bolhouse of Winter Garden, Fla.

      She was pre-deceased by her brothers Richard, Bill, Bob, and Kenny Munson as well as her sister Ruth Cronin. She leaves behind her sister Doris Buinauskas, and her brother Jack Munson. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, some of whom were her closest friends right to the end.

      Helen?s daughters would like to extend their deepest and most heartfelt appreciation to the staff at the Lutheran Home. These amazing people gave her kind and loving care that brought peace and dignity to her in her final days.
