      Funeral of Mrs. John P. Shea.

      The funeral of Mrs. Florence M. (O'Connell) Shea, wife of John P. Shea, was held Thursday morning at her home. 550 Hudson Street, and at St. Peter's Church. Rev. James E. Dargan was celebrant of the solemn requiem high mass: Rev. Walter J. Kenney deacon, and Rev. James Woods sub-deacon. George A. Dunn sang "Some Sweet "Ave Maria" at the offertory and "Beautiful Land On High" at the close of the service. The floral tributes include offerings from the Providence Hospital Nurses' Training School alumnae, the Kerry Social club and Holyoke telephone operators. The bearers were P. O'Connell, Roland B. O'Connell. Gerald F. O'Connell, James C. McCall, John C. Shea and Cornelius J. Crowley. Burial was in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery. Rev. James E. Dargan conducted the service.
