SHEA (MacDonald), Catherine C. - 97, a long-time Framingham resident, died Thursday, December 11, 2003, in Scripps Green Hospital, La Jolla, Calif. She was the wife of John C. Shea, who died in 1993. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, she was a daughter of the late Dan and Mary (McNeil) MacDonald. Mrs. Shea had been living in San Diego for the past four years. Before her retirement, she was employed for more than 45 years at Dennison Manufacturing Co. in Framingham. She was an active communicant of St. Stephen's Church, Framingham. She leaves her sisters, Jacqueline Carter and her husband Jack, San Diego, and Margaret MacDonald, Sydney; many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews in both San Diego and Sydney. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 20, at 9 a.m., in St. Stephen's Church, 251 Concord St., Framingham. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Framingham. There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham.
