  The immigration record in 1913 lists a surname of Berkowicz (Boukewicz). This was also used with daughter Bertha, plus Abram and Bella when they immigrated in 1921. This suggests that the name may have been changed by the family to Goldman upon arrival in the US. There is a Russian voting record in 1907 for Szapsa Berkowicz in Sochaczew, father Moszek.
